Herring Shoes – Fencote Two-Tone Brogue

by Adam the Editor

Herring shoes was established in 1966 by Richard Herring. Based in Kingsbridge, Devon; the company stocks high-quality shoes from the likes of Church’s, Barker, Cheaney and Loake.

The company also manufacture and retail their own range of shoes under the Herring name. The premier collection has a higher price point than the regular collection at between £195-£225. Brogue styles take a prominent role as do loafers, chelsea boots and lace-up ankle boots.

I especially love the Fencote two-tone brogue in navy and chestnut. This style retails at £225 and would look great paired with a houndstooth suit as well as jeans and a more casual shirt.

I also love the contrast between the suede and leather. The textural difference adds to the quality feel of the product.
